Refund policy

At KabulAura Rugs, every rug is individually handcrafted and carefully inspected before shipment. Because our rugs are one-of-a-kind handmade pieces, we have specific policies for cancellations, returns, and refunds.

Order Cancellations

To request an order cancellation, please email info@kabulaurarugs.com within 24 hours of placing your order. Please include your order number and the email address used at checkout.

We will review your request and confirm whether the order can be canceled.

Cancellation Before Processing

If your cancellation request is received within 24 hours and your order has not yet entered packing, fulfillment, or shipment, we will cancel the order and issue a refund to the original payment method.

A processing/handling deduction of 5% of the order total may apply to voluntary cancellations where payment processing or order preparation has already occurred.

Cancellation After Processing or Shipment

After 24 hours, or once an order has entered packing, fulfillment, or shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible.

If we are unable to cancel the order, you may request a return in accordance with the Returns section below.

Any deduction described in this policy applies only where permitted by applicable law and does not limit any rights you may have under applicable federal or state law.

Returns

Because KabulAura rugs are individually handmade and one of a kind, we accept returns only under the conditions described below.

If you change your mind after receiving your rug, please contact us at info@kabulaurarugs.com within 7 days of delivery to request a return authorization.

The rug must be:

Unused and in its original condition
Free from stains, odors, damage, or signs of wear
Returned with its original packaging, where applicable
Shipped back according to the return instructions provided by KabulAura

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for returns due to a change of mind or personal preference.

Once the returned rug is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the return has been approved.

Refunds

For an approved return, the purchase price of the rug will be refunded to the original payment method, less any applicable deductions disclosed in this policy.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law or where the return is due to an error on our part, such as shipping the wrong rug.

Return shipping costs are also non-refundable for returns based on a change of mind or personal preference.

Refunds will be processed after the returned rug has been received and inspected. The time required for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your rug arrives damaged, materially defective, or is not the rug you ordered, please contact us at info@kabulaurarugs.com as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of delivery.

Please provide:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Clear photographs of the rug and any damage
Photographs of the packaging, if applicable

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, provide a replacement, repair, return, or refund.

We will not charge a restocking or processing fee for an approved return resulting from our error, a material defect, or damage that occurred before delivery.

Handmade Rug Variations

Handmade rugs naturally contain variations in color, pattern, texture, knotting, and dimensions.

Minor variations are characteristics of authentic handmade craftsmanship and are not considered defects.

The rug shown in the product photographs is the actual piece offered for sale unless otherwise stated.

One-of-a-Kind Rugs

Because each KabulAura rug is individually handmade and one of a kind, a successfully canceled order releases that specific rug back into our collection.

Once a rug has been shipped and subsequently returned, we may need to inspect and approve the rug before making it available for sale again.

Refunds Required by Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any refund, return, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable federal or state law.

If applicable law provides you with a greater right to cancel, return, or receive a refund, that right will apply.
